Virtual Classes

The MINDBODY APP enables you to book and attend Virtual Classes.


  1. Download the MINDBODY APP on the APP STORE (APPLE) or get it on GOOGLE PLAY (ANDRIOD). The icon is an orange square with a white circle in the center.
  2. Register using the email we have for you at Fitness 1440. If you don’t know your email address on file, simply call us at (205) 744-3333.
  3. Set up a PASSWORD that you can remember.
  4. After you have registered, a confirming email will be sent to your email address.

Class Descriptions

Body Sculpt

Body Sculpt is a 45-minute “boot camp” style class.  Join others of all ages and fitness levels to renew mind, body and soul in a fun, fast workout.  Upbeat music will encourage participants to move through the strength training circuit using bodyweight and gym equipment such as kettlebells, the TRX Suspension Trainers, slam balls and battle ropes. Together, instructor and members will work on modifications as necessary, focusing on quality of form over quantity of reps.  Cool down always includes gentle stretching and opportunity for fellowship.



Enthusiasts know how effective these classes are in torching fat! Our classes are designed to allow first time participants to enjoy the same benefits. Classes are typically one hour long with our certified instructors guiding the entire time.



Ready to dance yourself into shape? That’s what Dancercise is all about! An exhilarating, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning, dance fitness party that’s moves you into joy and health.




Yoga uses slow movements and stretching to increase flexibility, balance, and cardio strength. It is also good for relieving stress and promoting relaxation.



All Level Yoga

This class will flow from pose to pose and link movement with the breath. We do sitting, standing, and inverted postures. The class is designed to build internal heat slowly and gently. Meditation and Pranayama (breathwork) techniques are taught to promote relaxation. A variety of modifications will be offered to encourage the participation of everyone. Challenging variations are available for the more advanced student as well as fun and non-intimidating options for newer students.


Easy (Beginning) Yoga

In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. A variety of modifications will be offered to encourage the participation of everyone.


Gentle Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. You will experience deep, rhythmic breathing accompanied by simple stretches in a safe and comfortable setting. Chair yoga is an ideal exercise for those suffering from conditions, such as chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoporosis, and multiple sclerosis. It may also benefit people over a certain age who have trouble moving through the up and down motions of
traditional yoga. Chair yoga allows them to stay stabilized.


Yoga For Back Health

This practice helps to stretch and strengthen muscles that support the back and spine, bend your spine, and stabilize your vertebrae. The stretching and lengthening yoga movements are often what your back needs to feel better. This class focuses on mindful movements to safely improve mobility and strength while stretching tight and aching back muscles.


Yoga Core And Stretch

Yoga Core and Stretch is a class suitable for all fitness levels. This class is sure to strengthen and empower your body, mind, and spirit as poses that target the core muscles are carefully selected. Your core consists of every muscle in your body that is not part of your arms and legs. Poses are held or connected together, creating a fun flow to strengthen and stretch the body. The class has no standing poses. We practice on a mat or from a chair.

Silver Sneakers Classic

SilverSneakers Classic focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing the range of movement for daily life
activities. Participants can use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball.
Often a chair is used for seated exercises or standing support.



Silver Sneakers Stability

SilverSneakers Stability is designed to help you become stronger and improve balance. The movements
taught in class focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee, and hip
joints, while improving your reaction time.
