The MINDBODY APP enables you to book and attend Virtual Classes for many of our class offerings.

- Register using the email we have for you at Fitness 1440. If you don’t know your email address on file, simply call us at (205) 744-3333.
- Set up a PASSWORD that you can remember.
- After you have registered, a confirming email will be sent to your email address.

ALL LEVEL YOGA
This class will flow from pose to pose and link movement with the breath. We do sitting, standing and inverted postures. The class is designed to build internal heat slowly and gently. Meditation and Pranayama (breathwork) techniques are taught to promote relaxation. A variety of modifications will be offered to encourage the participation of everyone. Challenging variations are available for the more advanced students as well as fun and non-intimidating options for newer students.
Ready to dance yourself into shape? That’s what Dancercise is all about! An exhilarating, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning, dance fitness party that moves you into joy and health.
EASY BEGINNING YOGA
In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. A variety of modifications will be offered to encourage the participation of everyone.
GENTLE CHAIR YOGA
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can be done sitting on a chair or standing on the ground while using the chair for support. You will experience deep, rhythmic breathing accompanied by simple stretches in a safe and comfortable setting. Chair yoga is an ideal exercise for those suffering from conditions, such as chronic pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, osteoporosis, and multiple sclerosis. It may also benefit people over a certain age who have trouble moving through the up-and-down motions of traditional yoga. Chair yoga allows them to stay stabilized.
GOLDEN BOOT CAMP
A 30-minute full-body workout class designed for beginners or middle-aged to senior adults. 8 exercises lasting 30 seconds each for 3 rounds. Modifications are given as needed.
SilverSneakers Circuit offers standing low-impact moves that alternate with standing upper-body strengthening using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball. The class can be adapted for all fitness levels.
SilverSneakers Classic focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing the range of movement for daily life activities. Participants can use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball. Often a chair is used for seated exercises or standing support.
SilverSneakers Stability is designed to help you become stronger and improve balance. The movements taught in class focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee and hip joints, while improving your reaction time.
A 30-minute all-level/any age standing abs class where all layers of the Rectus abdominis and Transverse Abdominis are targeted. 8 Exercises with various repetition counts for 3 rounds.
YOGA CORE AND STRETCH
Yoga Core and Stretch is a class suitable for all fitness levels. This class is sure to strengthen and empower your body, mind and spirit as poses which target the core muscles are carefully selected. Your core consists of every muscle in your body that is not part of your arms and legs. Poses are held or connected together, creating a fun flow to strengthen and stretch the body. The class has no standing poses. We practice on a mat or from a chair.
YOGA FOR BACK HEALTH
This practice helps to stretch and strengthen muscles that support the back and spine, bend your spine and stabilize your vertebrae. The stretching and lengthening yoga movements are often what your back needs to feel better. This class focuses on mindful movements to safely improve mobility and strength while stretching tight and aching back muscles.
Perfect for Everybody! We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise.
Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. Easy to follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.
